Just-for-Fun Texas Hold’em odds If you’re holding a pair, the flop will bring you four of a kind about 1 in 119 tries, or 0.84% of the time. The odds are 70.5 to 1 (1.4%) that no one at the table has an Ace or a King at a 10-handed table. The odds are 87,897 to 1 (0.01%) that you will not be dealt.
- If you're drawing to a flush, you have two suited cards in your hand and two on the board, that means 9 cards of that suit left in the deck. On the flop, it's 9.4 (+4) = roughly 40% of hitting. Meanwhile, on the turn (so the odds of hitting on the river) is 9.2 (=2) = roughly 20% of hitting.
- Use the odds to your advantage: 1 percent (1-in-100): Percentage of time that no player holds an Ace or a King at a table in a 10-handed game. 1 percent (1-in-100): Percentage of time that if you hold two suited cards, you’ll flop a flush. 6 percent (about 1-in-20): Percentage of time that five community cards will give pocket suited cards a flush.

- In Texas Hold’em a hand where aces, kings and queens pair up preflop is very rare. At a 9 player table this scenario unfolds roughly every 17,000 hands. The odds are 1:16,830 and the probability is 0.006%. Queens does happen every now and then, for example during this hand at the Bike.
