He also won his first Borgata Poker trophy, taking down Event 3 ($450 No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack) during the 2014 Borgata Fall Poker Open ($23,007). Play is now five handed, with blinds having just gone up to 15,000/30,000/4,000. The $1 Million Guaranteed 2019 Borgata Summer Poker Open Championship fielded 514 entrants and created a prize pool in excess of $1.2 million. The final table was Live Streamed on Twitch TV and Borgata’s Facebook page and the audience watched as Jackob Datashvili made the right reads and caught the cards when he needed them.

During the 2016 WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open, he finished sixth for $86,589. Today his luck ran out when all-in with ace-jack against Bin Weng's pocket jacks and he finished 17th for $3,956.

Fall

As we return from break here in the early morning hours we see a familiar face still in the hunt. Baruch Krieger was part of the heads up adjusted payout deal in Event 19.

Krieger took home $8,612 for his runner up finish falling just one spot shy of his first Borgata Poker title. Krieger is still in the hunt with just over 700,000 and we are now just three spots away from the Event 23 final table.

It folded back to Gottlieb who fired his hand into the muck and Hagerty took it down without showdown.

Jake Dynes was starting to pull away from the field but that is no longer the case. John Wilson has taken the lead and he has a pile of chips.

Wilson already holds one Borgata Poker title and he now sits alone at the top of the Event 23 chip counts with over 2,000,000 and just 40 players remaining.

The player check raised to 130,000 and Tkach came along. The turn brought the and the player moved all in for about 350,000. Tkach snap called turning over for top two pair and his opponent showed .

The river sealed the deal for Tkach who let out a fist pump as he raked in the pot. His opponent was left with less than one big blind and eliminated just a few hands later.

The remaining 45 Event 23 players are now all in the money and guaranteed at least $449 for their efforts.

Dynes has been near the top of the counts for much of the night and he has taken the chip lead. He is now sitting behind a mountain of 1,600,000 and is started to pull away from the rest of the Event 23 field.

Ross Gottlieb raised to 12,000 from early position and John Yanni called from the button. Sal Anastasio called from the big blind and they went three handed to flop.

Anastasio checked and Gottlieb continued with a bet of 16,000. Yanni called and they went heads up to the turn card.

Both players checked and the completed the board. Gottlieb fired out a bet of 32,000 and Yanni quickly called. Gottlieb turned over for top two pair and Yanni fired his hand into the muck.
